CTE Resources

Health and Medical Sciences is an elective CTE Program offered to students in high school. Students learn important skills and knowledge for employment and post-secondary education in health and medical related fields such as occupational and physical therapy, nursing, medical assistant, home health aide, and more. Health and Medical Sciences students are encouraged to participate in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). To learn more about HOSA, click here.

• Medical Terminology

Students have the opportunity to gain valuable industry credentials such as Workplace Readiness Skills, National Career Readiness Certificate, and other medical related certifications and credentials.
