Are you a Martinsville resident with a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2023? It's time to register for Kindergarten!
Martinsville City Public Schools Kindergarten registration will take place Tuesday, April 18 through Thursday, April 20 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
Registration will take place at MCPS Central Office (746 Indian Trail, Martinsville VA).
To register your child, you will need the following:
- Child's birth certificate (original)
- 2 proofs of residence (examples include a utility bill or lease agreement)
- Up-to-date physical examination (completed after August 14, 2022)
- Up-to-date immunization record
If you do not have all the required documents, you can still begin the registration process during the open registration period.
If you cannot come to open registration, you can still register your child. An online registration link will be posted once Kindergarten registration begins. If you use the online portal, you will still need to bring your required documentation to the school for which your child is zoned.
