MCPS is excited to announce registration is now open for direct-to-home summer meal kits! Completing the registration signs your child or children up for meal kits that will be delivered directly to your home via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
This opportunity is open to all youth age 18 and under. You do not have to be enrolled in Martinsville City Public Schools to receive meal boxes.
The deadline for the initial group registration is 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Families with validated addresses will begin receiving a weekly meal kit the week of June 28, 2026. Each delivery will include 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, and milk. All meals and milk are shelf-stable. The last delivery will be the week of August 2, 2026.
IMPORTANT: If your child is enrolled in a Boys & Girls Club program in Martinsville City, your child will receive meals at their site. They are not eligible to receive a direct-to-home meal kit until the week of July 19.
Children registered to receive direct-to-home meal kids are not eligible to receive meals from summer feeding sites on and for days meals are delivered to their home.
